COME VISIT THE PURDY A-FRAME!

We are open to the public Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, between 10am and 4pm. Check out the restorations we’ve done and see where Al Purdy wrote many of his poems.

There will be free information handouts, Purdy memorabilia for sale, and friendly hosts to welcome you. Bring a lunch and enjoy a picnic by the lake!

This year, we will be partnering with our friends at the Ameliasburgh Fall Fair, and a tractor pull will be available between the fairground and the A-frame.  Free parking will be available at the Ameliasburgh Public Library or on the side of Whitney Road at the end of Gibson Road (but not at the A-frame or on Gibson Road itself).  More information will be available on our Facebook page, “Al Purdy A-Frame Association.”  Hope to see you there!
